Hollowreach

★★★★★ 4.6 Editor rating

Hollowreach is quiet in the best way. You play a cartographer piecing together an abandoned valley, and the game trusts you to notice things — a path behind a waterfall, a symbol carved into a doorway.

There's no combat and no timers. Progress comes from curiosity, and the environmental storytelling slowly reveals what happened to the people who lived here. We found ourselves genuinely wanting to keep exploring.

It's short, maybe six hours, but it lingers. If you appreciate mood and discovery over action, Hollowreach is worth every minute.
