Ember Quest started as a group chat between three friends who kept sending each other screenshots of games we couldn't put down. At some point the messages turned into notes, the notes turned into reviews, and now it's a small independent site where we actually play every title before writing a word about it.,We're not tied to any studio. Nobody hands us a script. If a game feels grindy or the story falls apart halfway through, we say so — and if a quiet little adventure surprises us, we say that too.,When we pick games to cover, we look for something worth talking about: a combat system that clicks, a progression loop that respects your time, or a world you want to explore for its own sake. Genre doesn't matter much to us, but honesty does.,Everything you read here comes from real playtime on real phones, usually spread across a few days so first impressions have time to settle.
